Description

This workshop is for jugglers seeking to advance their juggling skills.
It is divided into 3 folds:

~ Body Awareness (fitness, posture, wellness)
~ Juggling Technique (adjustment, hacks, development)
~ Creativity (exploration, composition, expression)

You will learn a series of comprehensive tools to structure and advance your juggling practice:

~ Optimize your body posture by uncovering deficiencies and making targeted corrections.
~ Master physical exercises to support your juggling practice, strengthen your body, and reduce the risk of inflammation.
~ Improve your number of catches by increasing your endurance, and progress to more advanced techniques.
~ Explore your nervous system, visual field, and muscle chains to stabilize your juggling patterns.
~ Develop your creativity through guided exercises around research, performance, and composition.

You will work on each category every day and progressively increase the level of difficulty. The workshop structure is designed to be adapted and tailored to you and your goals. In the end, you are the one in charge of picking and choosing from the myriad of information, to decide which ones work for you.

Teacher

My name is Cyril Rabbath.
I am a French artist juggler living in America. I have learned a solid skillset from both my personal experience, and from working with world-class jugglers over the years, notably Nadejda Akopovna Akvits at the Moscow Circus School and Italo Medini at the Ecole National du Cirque d’Annie Fratellini. I have been performing for 30 years, with Cirque du Soleil, Absinthe in Las Vegas, and beyond. Performing an average of 10 shows a week for a total of over 10,000 shows, I developed a series of exercises and routines to stay healthy and avoid injuries, all the while improving my skills. This workshop is an intensive exploration of the tools I learned and developed to be optimal, grounded, and efficient in my juggling practice.

Details

This workshop is for the following jugglers:
1. You feel consistent and ready to take your next step.
2. You’re hitting a plateau and need help getting unstuck.
3. You’re curious and want to explore a deeper mind-body connection.

Prerequisite:
Solid 3 balls cascade
Good to Solid 4 balls sync & async
Beginner to Solid 5 balls cascade

Objects:
All objects are welcome, as long as they can be juggled in the basic patterns (odd, even sync & async).
